Donald trump countinues to rip off South Africans by utilizing his abilities to ensure that ordinary Africans pays huge price for it. Trump recently increase tarrifs with 30% towards South Africa and he threatened to increase them further in the near future. The prolonged battle has been initiated by Afriforum and Solidarity.
The battle that countinues enabled the Rand to raise as compared to the Dollar which was R18.28 to R19.74.it is also allaged that the misunderstanding within the GNU has huge impact on the Rand sinking as the parties particularly DA whom didn't vote for adoption of the budget claiming that VAT increase is not viable for Africans.
The loss of more than 3% value loss is directly affects South Africans as export of goods will raise ultimately push to the raise of fuel, goods and services which in turn will be reducing the buying power. On other hand Reserve Bank might raise the interest rate in protection of rand value.
