Gauteng spokesperson Michel Waters says they have been payments made to Matthew Goniwe school of learnership and governance(MGSLG) even during covid19 Era when schools were temporarily closed. Over 5 years they spended 1.2 Billion.
Waters further outlined how the board of MGSLG are individual members of ANC.Tseliso Ledimo, Chairperson and Provincial Secretary of the South African Democratic Teachers Union (SADTU), an ANC alliance partner.Jacob Khawe, Deputy Chairperson and former Gauteng ANC Provincial Secretary (2018–2022).Maupe (George) Matjila, ANC Regional Secretary for the City of Tshwane.Tlangi Mogale, a prominent ANC member and former ANC Youth League presidential candidate.
These funds were allegedly allocated for “cutting-edge” capacity-building programmes for school management and leadership, as well as teacher development initiatives.
