ANC SG Fikile Mbalula says they are not going to comment on Ntshavheni saga as the courts haven't found her guilty or not and he further said law enforcement shouldn't seek to find people guilty through the media.

Apparently the has been dark cloud surrounding the minister in presidency. It is alleged that Ntshavheni exploited the manicipality when she was still manicipal manager at Ba-phalaborwa at LIMPOPO. Over a month ago she was accused of being involved in the dodgy dealing of 2.5 million with which is it has escalated to 80 million rand according to the inquiry that is investigating fraud and corruption matter.

Democratic alliance says President Ramaphosa must fire Ntshavheni as she has full state security access for as long as she is still in the office.

EFF national spokesperson, Leigh-Ann Mathys, said Ntshavheni’s role in the corrupt awarding of a tender in Ba-Phalaborwa Local Municipality, represents the foundations of what is wrong with local government in South Africa. This includes a lack of capacity to conduct basic functions, reliance on consultants, and the misuse of power by officials in order to influence tenders and practice corrupt activities. Municipal managers have become a law unto themselves in municipalities, and Ntshavheni represents the earliest generation of arrogance and flouting of laws by officials at a local government level," she said.
