Panyaza Lesufi was delivering is state of the province(SOPA) yesterday where he highlighted his key priorities to attend to as soon as possible which are electricity, roads, theft, non functional traffic lights and unemployment amongst others.

Opposition parties were not convinced by the speech of Lesufi. Ayanda from Bosa says Panyaza promised to build 18 schools last year with which it never meterialised and he repeat it again this year. He further promised to build 6000 houses annually while they have millions  of people in the list when you use common sense it tells you that they are going to take century to help poor of the poorest.

Nkululeko Dunga Gauteng chairperson says they are disappointed by Lesufi because he doesn't have a concrete plan of action it is just promises. Provincial DA leader Solly Msimanga was equally unimpressed, saying Lesufi’s speech was nothing more than “hot air” and empty promises.
