Minister Senzo Mcunu says they are going to introduce cameras on Police officers uniform that will be able to record everything while they are on duty. The motion was suggested by Democratic Alliance for a while reason being the transparency on duty. 

SAPS is going to start with 100 cameras annually with cost of R28, 818 per camera with will cost R2.8million per years while SAPS has 179 000 members meaning it will take century for all members to have them. Former minister of police Bheki Cele once promise to implement it which never meterialised. 

D.A says the will continue to hold government accountable as they don't want this one to be another broken promise. This year April the first phase will be undertake.
