Kagiso Medupi and his partner Rashaka Muofhe went to KingDavid podcast to clarify the false narrative that has been pushed by other publications. Apparently the has been liars spreading by Saga saying Bakwena production hasn't been paying their actors and the crew.
Bakwena leaders acknowledged that they had a delay regarding the payments yet people were paid 28 December 2024. Kagiso is amongst the founders of Saga which is institution meant to stand for the actors even though he is no longer active he believes that they have agenda against their production and they obsticle they have encountered saga saw it as loophole. He further justified his statement by saying they are white productions that didn't pay people until now yet they haven't been targeted.
Rashaka says the false narrative that has been pushed for the longest time impacted their production as they no longer get work. The responses have turned to be paused or rejected as well as the social programs with the government that were on the pipeline are gone. They further said they have anticipated to be the ones whom will fulfill Muvhango slot but it has been compromised.
