Mamelodi sundowns played CAF quarter finals first leg at Lofters stadium with Esperance both teams had tough first half that ended with zero-zero. Both teams known to have huge caliber in the space. Peter Shalulile come to rescue as he found back of the net and ensure bafana ba style lead. The game ended with 1-0. 

Esperance supporters didn't take the defeat well as they started throwing objects on the supporters of Mamelodi Sundowns just seconds before the game ended. Sundowns fans retaliated. The security personnel were summoned while a person who was speaking on the speakers were busy trying to stop the commotion.

Good Samaritan who is presumed be a Sundowns fan because of his yellow t shirt come to rescue as Esperance fan was about to fall only holding in the pole of the stadium structure he managed to help him to claim on other side of the stadium. People have been applauded him further outlined the humour we have as South Africans despite the situation that was happening. 

While we are on CAF second game was playing Pirates and MC Alger. Alger was dominant in the first half even though it went to half time with 0-0 as well. In second half Mohau Nkota found back of the net for pirates. The game ended with 1-0 pirates leading. It is said that Algers didn't like the fact that pirates players went to stand in the goal post for long time they alleged that they were using muthi against them therefore they went to poor boiling water to neutrialise the substance.
