Patrice Motsepe is once again nominated as the CAF president after his Era come to an end. His first encounter as president started 2021 being 4 years period. Apparently no one contested the presidency therefore Motsepe is leading for the second time this Era will then come to end on the year 2029.
Motsepe's contribution on CAF didn't go unrecognized as the leaders in the space acknowledge his impact like the influence he had by raising organization ravanue last year when African cup of nations was watched globally by 1.5billion people. His re-election was confirmed at the 14th CAF Extraordinary General Assembly in Cairo on Wednesday.
Motsepe outlined his gratitude "The achievements over the last few years was because of all of us and I'm immensely grateful. Thank you so much, because this is about africa. This is about the people of this continent and it has been a huge privilege for me to get exposed to each and everyone of you because you represent the very best of the continent and the very best of the world."
