MK secretary General Floyd Shivambu has been criticized for his latest act when he went to visit Bushiri in Malawi. You will recall Bushiri managed to fly out of South Africa all the while being on restrictive bail conditions that implicated him not being allowed to travel. Bushiri is accused of rape, fraud and other unlawful misconducts
Minister of Justice Mamoloko kubayi condemned the acts of Floyd saying that undermines the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) and the victims of the alleged perpetrator. As an influential political figure, one may consider the act as unprecedented.
It is not clear what Floyd's agenda was, as the general publics' confusion leads them to believe Floyd's visit was signaling his support for Bushiri. A few weeks ago ,people's Bae by the name of Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi went to Malawi to address students and he also touched on Bushiri questioning how he accumulated his wealth and also requesting him to come to South Africa to answer.
